Bear / Osito

Bear is one of the Farm Pups from Ourense, Northern Spain, who was being neglected and abused, and thankfully, rescued by a dedicated volunteer who took him to Disabled Dogs Paradise for homing.  Bear was emaciated but has started to gain weight slowly, and whilst he was scared of humans and not interested in the other dogs at the sanctuary, he has integrated well and enjoys living in the house and receiving love and affection from Daniela and her husband. Bear has also started playing with the other dogs and toys, finally he is able to be a puppy.  Bear is positive for low level leishmaniasis, but the disease isn’t active and he doesn’t have any symptoms and doesn’t need any treatment, so he is just being monitored.
