Matti

Meet Matti who was born in Bulgaria in 2019, adopted in German, but after the adoption failed, he was going to end up in a German shelter, so the association contacted Daniela at Protección animal – Paraíso para perros discapacitadosm, and thankfully, she agreed to take him.

Matti is a lovely boy, he knows the house, is clean, no issues in the car, at the vet, out walking on the leash, but he does have some insecurity that is solved when he has a calm, confident human to lead him – then he is the perfect boy. Due to his insecurity, it is felt that it is best he is not placed with children unless they are older and experienced with dogs that need space and leadership.

So what does his insecurity look like?
* Around large male dogs, Matti tries to control their behaviour and movement, and stalks them.
* Around unknown humans who enter his yard he can bite

To help Matti be the best dog that he can be, he needs a calm environment, possibly with another stable dog, and with humans that are calm, confident and plenty of dog experience.
