Dougie

Dougie was born in Spain and found himself in danger in a pound where dogs were being euthanised.  He is a tall boy, a possible mix of Dane, Lab and something else.  Dougie has turned out to be a complete darling, and whilst he can be anxious, he desperately wants to please and is so happy when he gets it right. He has settled to home life well, is clean and non destructive.  Dougie can be a bit noisy when he is out playing but settles well indoors. He is a strong dog learning to walk on the lead and obey basic commands. He gets on well with the other dogs after an initial period of being quite anxious and defensive.  Dougie needs a home without cats or with a very dog confident cat and people prepared to educate him on them. He would be fine with other dogs and is not snappy so also ok with older kids. He needs a home with decent outside space or an active family.  Dougie is affectionate, funny and quick to learn. He really wants to please and is an adorable guy.
